January: Pod Draft (Zack-Free Weekend!)
Planning on playing 4 rounds, 10 dollar entry fee, half goes to food and half goes towards gift card prizes!
Each participant will bring three army pods. Each pod can have a minimum of 200 points and a maximum of 265 Delta points and 12 figures. Figures may not be repeated in more than one pod.
The format is Double Strike Pod Draft.
Before each game, there will be a dice-off. The winner of the dice-off decides whether to be "Player A" or "Player B" in the draft. There is no deffering.
The progression of the draft is as follows:
Player B has the option of striking one of the six pods (a pod that is struck cannot be chosen by either player).
Player A chooses one of the remaining (5 or 6) pods to play.
Player B chooses one of the remaining (4 or 5) pods to play.
Player A has the option of striking one of the remaining pods.
Player B chooses one of the remaining pods to play.
Player A chooses one of the remaining pods to play.
After that, kill em all.
Proxy Rule: You may proxy any amount of common figures as long as you bring/borrow a minimum of 1x of the common. 3d prints of classic (Hasbro/DnD) figures are acceptable as the first squad of commons. Proxies must be of similar physical size and general pose of the figures they are proxying. Example: I would like to bring 4x Molten Crustaceans. I only have 1x. I may bring my 1x Molten Crustaceans and proxy the remaining 3x with Wolves of Badru. 3d prints of units currently in production will not be allowed.
Prize structure is determined day of based on number of participants. Raffle items will be distributed to the remaining players based on availability.
Scoring will default to SoS with the exception of if two or more tied players have faced each other within the tournament. The victorious player will be ranked higher in overall standings regardless of what's displayed in the results page.

Store Championship - Double Strike Pooled Draft
Welcome to the Store Championship for TJs! Entry Fee is $20.
This event will be run on the Battle Network. Please sign up here as well: Battle Network Event Page
Each Player will bring up to 600-660 point, 24- hex contemporary army. Players will combine those two armies into a shared pool of units from which to draft. The armies drafted from the pool must be 500 pt, 18 figure limit. You may not have more than 2 copies of a given army card in your pool.
First, the players should roll for which side of the map they want. Once the draft begins, the players may no longer roll for side.
Dice off. High roll may choose to either draft first or defer.
Before drafting, the player that drafts second may strike up to two army cards and remove them from the draft pool.
Draft in a 1-2-2-2-2 pattern (first player drafts 1 army card, second player drafts 2 army cards, first player drafts 2 army cards, etc.).
Each copy of a common card is a separate pick.
Armies are not placed until all units have been drafted.
Once you are out of points, you may not draft any more cards (but you may continue to draft up to the point limit even if the extra card(s) would put you over the figure limit).
Each player has 5 minutes with which to draft their armies. We will use timers. If your time expires, you may not draft any more units.
If a mistake is made during the draft (IE someone drafts over the limit or declares being done while under the limit), call the judge immediately. The judge will rectify the situation (walking back the draft to the point where the error occurred).
To help avoid mistakes during the draft, pen and paper will be provided. Both players are responsible for keeping track of both players’ points and picks during the draft (in order).
However, no outside draft notes are allowed.
